Little Rann of Kutch

The little Rann of Kutch is spread over 7500 kms. The ground is cracked and the mirages abound and air is dry and parched earth unfolds in all the directions endlessly. The little rann of Kutch has India’s largest wildlife sanctuary and varies from brown grey patches to large marshlands of soiled with small thorny shrubs.

Best time to visit in Little Rann of Kutch
The best time to visit Little Rann of Kutch is the winter season means November to February especially on the full moon as the reflection from the moonlight on the white sands of the Kutch gives it amazing look. The Rann festival is also organized in the same time and adds lots of activities around here.

  1. Great Rann of Kutch- The Little Rann of Kutch is a large area with salt marshes and is located in Gujarat India and is divided into great Rann of Kutch and Little Rann of Kutch. The name Rann comes from the Hindi word Ran which means “desert”.
  2. Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary- The wildlife sanctuary is spread around 100 kms away from the bhuj and is spread over 7505.22 sq kms In the Kutch district of Gujarat. This wildlife sanctuary is considered as the largest seasonal sailine and biggest in India.
  3. Mandavi Beach Bhuj- The mandavi beach is one of the most attractive serene beaches on the northwestern shores of India and is perfect destination to relax and enjoy with family and friends during winter season. It is close to Little Rann of Kutch.
  4. City Shopping- In the city shopping, there is exquisite handicraft items, embodied cloths, bandhani fabrics, bed sheets and enameled silver wear is all famous in the Little Rann of Kutch.
