Little Rann of Kutch

The Little Rann of Kutch is sprawl over 5000 sq kms and is inaccurately named as ran of Kutch. The name is accurately means “the salty desert”. The little Rann of Kutch is spread over 7500 kms. The ground is cracked and the mirages abound and air is dry and parched earth unfolds in all the directions endlessly. The little rann of Kutch has India’s largest wildlife sanctuary and varies from brown grey patches to large marshlands of soiled with small thorny shrubs.

The best time to visit Little Rann of Kutch is the winter season means November to February especially on the full moon as the reflection from the moonlight on the white sands of the Kutch gives it amazing look.
